Breakfast in the Park
On Thursday, June 11th the Senior Crew will be having one of our "fun" get togethers of the year. The men of the church will prepare a terrific breakfast of scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage, biscuits, possum gravy, grits and coffee. Our guest speaker will be our Pastor, Rev. Jim Wheeler, and we will have some good old fashioned hymn singing lead by Tony Russom. There is no charge for this event, but there will be a "kitty" for donations. For more information contact Laura Jo Jones, Director of Senior Adults Ministry at (636) 561-8476.

Fifteen bowlers and five "watchers" went to the January Bowling party at the Brunswick Bowling Lanes. it was a fun way to spend a cold January day, even though it meant a few aching muscles on the following day. Lunch was at Ethyls's with plenty of delicious food and good fellowship.
What sport do you think we Seniors ought to "have-a-go-at" next--waterskiing--ice skating--rollerskating??? You name it and we will try to work up a party.. We are too alive and vital to just sit around and vegetate
A 2009 Wish: May you have the senility to forget the people you never liked anyway, the good fortune to run into the ones you do like, and the eyesight to tell the difference.
